Case Study: Kitchen Garden Shark Tank—Athelstone PS
It’s vital at any age to understand where our food comes from, and how it can be ethically produced and maintained for both present ad future generations. Learners at Athelstone Primary School gained a higher awareness of these matters and others through their kitchen garden projects, inspired by the popular TV program Shark Tank.
Using Solution Fluency as their guide, and with the help of the Wabisabi Learning team, they developed several innovative concepts for food production geared toward solving problems and building sustainable growing practices for future generations.
