1. Find Each Other On Facebook
The first of our social media activities features everyone’s favourite, Facebook. All students should be instructed to find one another and connect on Facebook. Ask them to create a class group. 2. Get on LinkedIn
All students should be asked to create a LinkedIn account.
Get them to connect with some professionals in a field related to a class topic.
For example, a computer technology class would need to connect with IT professionals. You can then ask students to review their connections’ profiles regularly. They can use the content to get ideas for creating a first-class profile for themselves.
3. Write and Share Articles
One of the simplest and most effective social media activities is students using Twitter to link to interesting articles. Each student should be asked to create a Twitter account; most of them will probably already have one. They can then find articles that relate to a project being completed. Students can connect with one another on Twitter and read each others’ articles.
As for writing, blogging is always a great project. Maintaining a blog is a multifaceted exercise for skill-building. It’s networking, researching, writing, problem-solving, critical thinking, and more.

4. Develop a Poll
Find out how you can make your class better by taking a poll. Have the students both create and take part in the poll for exceptional results. 5. Find Local Volunteer Projects
